We exist to labor with the Body of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20)
I share with you a sobering reality to contemplate. There is a new Anti-Missionary Law in Russia. As written, it could be used to shut down virtually all evangelical church ministries outside of the walls of a registered church building. Since most churches have never been able to register their building, it could mean the closing of most of our churches. The Gospel work of Russian Missions missionary pastors, children ministry workers and even street witnessing could all be stopped cold in upcoming months.
But the Bible is very clear about such developments. When man’s law conflicts with God’s law, we must always obey God’s law. In this case, we must increase our work as much as possible, and reach as many souls for Christ while we can still do it.
Please pray for physical and spiritual needs of our missionaries. Ask God to give them peace and wisdom as they seek God’s direction. Pray His grace will be sufficient to meet all their needs. Ask Him to prepare the way for them. That they may have a sense of mission and unity, flexibility and an attitude of service.
There are many testimonies I could share with you. Here is the one I selected for this communique. It vividly demonstrates how God’s Word is changing hearts and lives across Russia and her neighboring countries.
