God’s Love is Changing Lives!

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Political and economic unrest…Natural disasters…Coronavirus Pandemic: Times are tense. It’s not an exaggeration to say many people have struggled with their collective sense of control and purpose over the last six months. But, I remind you to bolster your faith by remembering the truths of Christianity. The only constant we can depend upon is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

God is on His Throne. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His Word and His promises are unfailing—even during times of global and personal crisis.

When Job questioned God about his illness, God never “explained” things. He simply pointed out his Sovereignty over nature (Job 38:8-11).

Groceries and the Gospel

We rest in the assurance that He is in control no matter the world situation. Like the old song says, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”…more importantly, let’s reflect on Matthew 28:20 “I am with you always, even to the very end of the age.”

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). God uses all things to the Christian’s good. How might something called a “pandemic” be used for good?

erhaps it make us more mindful of our blessings. Perhaps it forces us to interact more thoughtfully with others. Perhaps it brings us to our knees as we seek God’s good for ourselves and our hurting world.

God is calling us to live this life from an eternal perspective. Romans 8:29 also comes to mind; our greatest good is to be conformed to Christ’s image.

There’s nothing like tough times to offer opportunities to act and react more like Jesus. Facing challenges toughens us, builds our character, and makes us consider what purpose God has in mind for us.

I believe these tenuous times call for discipline and commitment to live by God’s truths.

By remembering who we are and who God is, we conquer fear with faith. No matter what happens next,

I pray God will use this year’s trials to deepen our faith, awaken the lost, and glorify the name of Jesus Christ!

I am so proud of my teams for taking charge of meeting the needs of their communities head-on during this strange and stressful season.

I believe their actions were much more than a day of ministry; they were sent as ambassadors of God’s light and love as they went door-to-door to various villages to provide food and the Gospel for anyone in need.

Often they visited vast and harsh regions where the villages were impoverished even before the pandemic and hope was nowhere to be found.

They reached out to many people who had a legacy of various forms of spiritualism, drunkenness, and domestic violence.

Other teams focused on the elderly who are now house-bound by quarantine, the homeless, and young people in orphanages.

Full of joy and zeal for our Lord, our teams are taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth and are a great reminder that we are in this together.

Christmas is Coming!

I know that it’s only October, and many of us can’t even accept that summer is over. Nonetheless, now is the time we start planning for our upcoming Christmas evangelistic ministries.

If you can make a Love Offering to help us continue our work, we will be very grateful. When you support Russian Missions, you can feel good knowing you’re part of a positive movement that uplifts needy people—and in turn, uplifts the world. Our ministry can only offer what is in our hands to give.

I realize the downturned economy may be making your life more difficult and even challenging, just as it is for us. We will faithfully work with whatever funds our supporters feel led to share. More funds available means more people can be touched with the Gospel message during the holiday season.

Please pray about what you can do today. Let’s all do what we can to see this world won for Jesus!
