Our ministry serves in Russia, especially in the Kurgan region. These are challenging days for the country, yet by the grace of God, He continues to open doors. Together with our small mission team, we keep going, meeting people where they are and sharing with them the life‑changing message of the Gospel and the hope we have in Christ.
We’re sitting together in the food court, surrounded by everyday noise and people. The kids and teens are holding little heart‑shaped cards that remind them, ‘You are loved.’ We chat over snacks, listen to their stories, and then gently bring in the message of the Gospel—how Jesus came so that each of them can know they are forgiven, valuable, and never alone. Many of them are curious and full of questions because they didn’t grow up hearing about God at home. These simple moments over French fries and soda open the door to deeper conversations and, we pray, to the beginning of a relationship with Christ.
Our outreach in a busy shopping mall. Instead of waiting for young people to come to us, we go to them—right where they like to spend their free time. We walk around, start small conversations, hand out little gifts, and hold up this bright ‘Love’ poster as a fun ice‑breaker. It gives us a natural way to talk about a deeper kind of love, the love of God that doesn’t fade or disappoint. Many of these teens have never opened a Bible, so we keep things simple, honest, and warm, letting them know that Jesus is not just a religious idea, but Someone who cares about their hearts and their future.
Our regular youth meet‑ups. We invite teens who mostly come from non‑Christian homes to hang out, play games, drink tea, and just be themselves. Around this table we laugh a lot, talk about school, family, and the things they’re struggling with. In the middle of all that, we share short stories from the Bible and explain, in simple words, how much God loves them and how real the hope of Christ is for everyday life. It’s not a formal ‘service’—it feels more like family, and many of them are hearing the Gospel clearly for the very first time.
Our Bible study gatherings for new believers who meet with us to talk, learn, and read the Bible together. Some are older, some are middle‑aged, and most of them did not grow up in a Christian environment. They carry a lot of life experience—loss, disappointment, broken relationships, health issues—and they are looking for something solid to hold on to. Around this table we open Scripture, discuss what it means in plain language, and show how Jesus brings real hope into all seasons of life. It’s very interactive: people ask questions, share their doubts, and slowly discover that the message of Christ is not just for ‘religious people’ but for them personally.
Our youth Bible home study group. We squeeze around the table with tea, cookies, and lots of chatter. The teens feel relaxed here—no stage, no microphones, just friends. We read a short passage from the Bible, talk about what it means, and how it connects with things like fear, pressure from friends, social media, and family problems. Everyone is free to share, to ask questions, and even to disagree. In this atmosphere of trust, we can point them to the Good News: that Jesus sees them, understands them, and offers forgiveness, freedom, and a new life. These evenings often end with deep conversations and prayer for those who are ready.
Our new believers’ Bible study group. Many of them have lived through hard times and carry heavy memories. Some have never really heard the Gospel; others only know religion as a set of rules. Here we slow down together, share stories, read from the Bible, and talk about what it means to trust Christ even in later years. There is a lot of listening, a lot of kindness, and often a lot of tears. Our desire is that each person would discover that it’s never too late to meet Jesus, receive His love, and find the sure hope of eternal life.
